Dorothy lays there motionless. Everyone is shocked.
Raedale waits for a moment to make sure that
Dorothy is unconscious. Then he jubilantly runs over to Slater.
RAEDALE
Slater! You did it, man. You beat her.
SLATER
Rose...
Slater drops his drumsticks and stumbles
backwards, exhausted. Rose stands in her place, conflicted as to whether
or not to help her mother or run to Slater.
On the ground, Dorothy grins.
DOROTHY
Was that it?
Everyone turns. Slater is stunned. Raedale steps
back. Dorothy's glowing body straightens up. She floats off the ground,
arms folded.
DOROTHY
Did you honestly think you could spend a few months
learning cheap tricks and expect to challenge me?
SLATER
But you...you were...
DOROTHY
Testing you.
